My mother, Edna (Lolley) and myself had a great time. We did not know what to expect. But the evening was just great. I did not know that my great grandad was into music so, as the saying goes; you learn something every day. A big thanks must go to Gill for all her work in finding us, also to Pete, Alice and Sue (Pete’s wife). May many more people hear the music and enjoy it like the family has.
Thank-you so much for your kind comments Ruth. It was a pleasure to meet you, Edna and Jessie at the CD Launch in April. It was an honour to be able to play the fabulous songs and tunes that came from your great grandfather for you and your family. Many thanks to you all for helping us with our research and to Gill Baldwin for tracking you down! Hopefully we can all meet up again very soon.
